Formally she has acquired her degree in commerce from Delhi University and post-graduation in Human Resources from Symbiosis, Pune. A self-taught artist, she has been fond of art since childhood. Her mother was a major influence in her life, and she was an ardent art lover and painter. Being from an Indian Army background, her travels have had a huge influence in her topics and style of art.
